Road access information
Prepare a route sketch from the receiving point to the proposed well location. Ask the transport reviewer which vehicle access information should be supplied and identify the site contact who can provide current route photographs and drawings.
Request the proposed mounted equipment transport documents for that review. Mark unresolved access questions against the route sketch and ask who approves the proposed receiving arrangement before the purchasing team agrees commercial transport responsibilities for the package.
Mounted equipment arrangement
Ask the bidder for a proposed arrangement drawing that identifies the vehicle and drilling equipment separately. Send the drawing to the buyer appointed reviewers and request clarification of missing information about the proposed purchasing boundary between the packages.
Identify existing vehicle documents that the reviewers want considered alongside the proposal. Keep questions linked to the corresponding vehicle or rig reference and ask for revised arrangement drawings where the bidder proposes a change to the equipment package.
Vehicle package quotation
Request distinct quotation lines for the vehicle, drilling equipment and any associated items the buyer has asked to purchase. Ask bidders to identify exclusions against the mounted package schedule and to keep alternatives separate from the requested scope.
Confirm the final purchasing quantities and minimum order requirements before ordering. Ask for written receiving and delivery arrangements, then reconcile the equipment list against the arrangement drawing approved for purchasing review by the vehicle and rig advisers.
